What it is for
An antibiotic for typhoid, urine infections and some throat and chest infections.
How to take it
Take it once or twice a day as advised, with or without food. Finish the full course.
Common side effects
Loose stools, belly pain.
Call your doctor if
Rash, swelling of the face or breathing difficulty.
Severe or bloody diarrhoea.
Take care
Tell the doctor about any penicillin or cephalosporin allergy.
