What it is for
Prevents asthma symptoms and reduces allergic sneezing and blocked nose. Often combined with levocetirizine.
How to take it
Take it once a day in the evening, with or without food. It is not for a sudden asthma attack.
Common side effects
Headache, stomach upset.
Rarely, changes in mood or sleep, vivid dreams.
Call your doctor if
Low mood, anxiety, sleep walking or thoughts of self-harm, in adults or children.
Asthma getting worse.

Keep using your reliever inhaler for sudden breathlessness.
