What it is for
Lowers blood pressure. It causes ankle swelling less often than amlodipine and may help reduce protein leak from the kidneys.
How to take it
Take it once a day, usually after breakfast.
Common side effects
- Headache, flushing or dizziness.
- Mild ankle swelling.
Call your doctor if
- Fainting or very low BP.
Take care
Avoid grapefruit juice.
